"How am I just now finding about this place?! Had dinner here about a week ago and have been wanting it again ever since.

My bf and I both ordered bean and cheese burritos and split an order of the potato taquitos. What I loved about this place was that the portions were huge and the beans tasted amazing. I liked how everything tasted healthier too and not greasy.

They had great customer service too! Check this place out of you're in the area."

"This was a fantastic find. We ordered to go and now I can't wait to return to dine in. I always love to see the food prepared in front of us. It's an assurance that the our food is handled propery. We we for dinner, yet I was tempted to try the breakfast burrito.

My wife had 2 chicken tacos, and the tortilla soup. She was surprised the tacos were larger than expected and the soup was one of the best we had ever had.

I went with the Super Chingon Fish & Shrimp Plate, I was very hungry. I asked if we had ordered enough and the cashier pleasantly smile saying oh yeah.

I can't wait to go back. I'll take some pics to add later.

So we returned and ordered to go, again. It was even better than the first time. If you've ever been to Cabo or Ensenada and tried seafood from those regions well this place reminds me of there. Especially their shrimp!

Taste, price, customer service (Ruben) and appearance all deserve 5 stars!"

"Growing up in the food mecca of NYC the biggest edge California has over the food capital is Mexican. This place is home to my favorite fish tacos in LA by far. The staff is always on point, friendly and helpful. My go-to are the grilled fish tacos in their Delish flour tortilla and I add avocados and extra of their insane chipotle sauce."

"I got the chicken street tacos plancha style (with cojita cheese and guacamole). They came on soft corn tortillas but you can get them crispy, in flour tortillas or low carb lettuce cups. Very good! The chicken was seasoned nicely. It didn't feel heavy. And it came with fresh chips! I helped myself to the salsa at the salsa bar. It was kinda low (the reason for only 4 stars). The prices wasn't bad but if it were cheaper I would definitely be back more often. I paid about 7 bucks I feel satisfied but wasn't very hungry to begin with - not sure I would of been satisfied if I was ravenous."

"This was a phenomenal find at 10:30pm at night! After an art show in Hollywood, I was struggling to find something that met by boyfriends request of 'good tacos'. Thank goodness for Yelp!

Plenty of parking on a Thursday night even though it was an hour and a half away from closing. The customer service was fantastic in the sense that money that fell out of my pocket was returned to me by the worker that was cleaning at the time --- A+!!

Now to the food, we ordered grilled fish tacos and couldn't have been happier. My only suggestion would be to request light sauce on the fish tacos, mine were swimming in the green chipotle sauce."

"Diet coke was awesome I know silly but it's an example of how they do things, I love the salsas there is a mild and a hot habenero I loved. I love the guacamole try it. I loved the shrimp taco. They make it fresh and it's amazing. I did not like the steak street tacos. I think they use a too tender cut of meat."

"If you like shrimp tacos, you will love Plancha's. They are a mix of Shrimp, onions, cheese, and a house hot salsa that is pan fried just a little with some garlic in there too. They are amazing. I usually get 3. they are 3.50 a piece. Comes with chips. BOMB!"

"Plancha Tacos is an LA favorite of mine even if it is over on the West Side. I die for their giant shrimp and always order extra char, or as they say, extra spices. The grill is what brings the flavors out in all of their food. Their street tacos are perfectly seasoned and make my mouth water just typing this out. I would love it if they sold their habanero salsa. It's the perfect blend of heat and flavor. I can't wait to go back. 

Another plus is that they have very late hours and it's a much healthier option than fast food."

"Planchas taco joint makes possibly the juiciest chicken tacos I've ever had!

I ordered my Chicken street Tacos (3 for $5.50 is a steal!!) plain but they also do "plancha style, " with guacamole, cotija cheese & salsa

Steak Tacos were good but next time I know what I like, it's all about their chicken ya'll!

I noticed they sell Chicken Lettuce cups and since I've fallen in love with their chicken I will give these a try next time. Don't get me wrong, the toritillas are pretty good & fresh.

Planchas is here (beverly hills) and Venice and have great hours. They are open for breakfast (8am) till midnight, 1am on the weekend."

"Yes, I am aware this is my 3rd review for a taco place in a row. Just consider me an expert.. err glutton.

This was our hangover stop after a wedding at the SLS Beverly Hills (easy walking distance). We came on a Sunday when they have tamales and we ordered one, but weren't thrilled. The rest of our meal was great though! My favorite was the Tiger Taco with the Playa Fish a close 2nd. We also got the Fresh Fish Taco that comes in lettuce instead of a tortilla. Great combination and super refreshing with its chipotle cream sauce. Additionally we ordered a side of the chips and guac. The guacamole was really different, it was almost watery like salsa, but still super flavorful. We inhaled the cup which was a good portion for the price.

I'd definitely return here if in the area. Quick service and fresh food!"

"Plancha is a nice little taco shop on 3rd street. It is the best cheap meal in the area for sure.

They have always had a table open when I've gone. There are several outside as well and the speaker system (to let you know your order is ready) announces outside too. The staff is friendly and fast.

I got the Tiger Taco and the Chicken Tortilla Soup last time I was there and loved them both. My boyfriend had the trio of street tacos with rice and beans. All meals come with free chips and salsa, and the salsa bar is awesome. Lots of choices in all ranges of spiciness.

There is a small parking lot if you can find a spot. If not I believe they have a spot or two in the alley behind. There are also tons of meters on 3rd."
